Water Taxi UnderwayWater Taxi Service; We offer a water taxi service around the Hobart area. We are the quickest and easiest way to cross from the Eastern shore to the Western shore in Hobart, no traffic jams or parking hassles. Our water taxi service can pick up and drop off any where from Bridgewater to Peppermint Bay provided there is a safe jetty to go against as we are a bow loading vessel.

It’s not just a taxi ride it’s a river cruise.
Locals and tourists alike around the Hobart area use us to commute across the river to their destination to dine out and return later as we operate until Midnight on Friday and Saturday nights in summer and 11pm in winter. We are ideal for transporting small groups of up to 12 to sporting events, corporate functions, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, hen and bucks nights or to show visiting family and friends around the Derwent River.

We are an on call service but we do strongly advise booking ahead as far as possible, as we do get busy at times particularly Friday and Saturdays.

Alternately: You can map out your own tour to a specific area anywhere on the Derwent River, as we are flexible.

We can go where no ferry can go, so you get a closer look at places of interest.

Our vessel Cassie H is capable of high speeds for those thrill seekers, and we are fully enclosed to keep the elements out, which is a must for Hobart as the weather changes notoriously quick at certain times of the year.

For those who find accommodation at Sandy Bay, Bellerive or Lindisfarne don’t worry we can start our tours from there

Wheelchair access: We have partial access where assistance is required.

We have a bow load vessel which means we can generally nose into a jetty to the same height as the bow which makes it safe and easy, there may be a small step up or down to negotiate.

We have hand rails to hold onto as well.

Children: We are fully enclosed so we are suitable for children of all ages, but they must remain seated and be supervised by an adult at all times.

Pets: Well trained pets are welcome.
